Winter Retreat
was wonderful for my soul. Everything feels so new and even more beautiful.
Today, Marissa and I got some planning done for Alternative spring break. We planned out the talks for all three trips; Dominican Republic, Kentucky and NY and who will be doing a talk on each trip. We’ll be working on the quotes for next week and going to the meetings for all the trips, just to figure out what else needs to be done.
I’m excited for my second mission trip.
I refuse to move on to
headstands/handstands, even though I really really want to, until I get bakasana right.
I was doing so well with it over the summer but not doing it for four months has put me pretty much back to the beginning. At least then I could do it without a yoga block but now I can’t.
I am happy to say that my shoulderstand is going pretty well.

to be done with my week on a Thursday morning.
First, taking a nap and then doing some yoga.
And then off to spend the rest of the day and weekend with Marissa.

I'm back in DC
and while I haven’t been too happy about it, I’ve loved being on my own again. There’s just something about it that makes me feel so happy and at peace.
and I missed Marissa so soo much.
we’re already taking a trip this weekend. Actually, I’ll be gone for every weekend for the rest of this month. eek.
